Attend, prepare for, and actively participate in all Caucus meetings.
Actively participate in Caucus activities including strategic planning, legislation, and other opportunities as they arise.
Work closely with NMA staff in preparation for Caucus meetings and events.
Serve as an advocate for NMA membership and Nebraska physicians.
Respect, uphold, and support collective Caucus decisions.
Serve as a liaison between the membership and the Caucus.
Maintain confidentiality of the Caucus’s deliberations.
Familiarize themselves with the duties which will fall on them as Chair.
Perform other duties as delegated by the Caucus.
Term
Must be a member of the NMA for at least two (2) years prior to election.
Elected individuals may serve up to three (3) years beginning when the individual was elected. Terms will staggered so individuals may be asked to serve a shorter initial term.
Elected individuals may serve up to two (2) consecutive terms.
Any duration spent as an appointment to fill a vacancy prior to election by the membership shall not count towards a elected individual's term.
